Toyota readies Super Bowl commercial

Toyota Canada will debut a new Olympic-themed television commercial during the broadcast of the Super Bowl this weekend. The 60-second ad, called "Good Odds," depicts the personal story of Canadian Paralympic skier Lauren Woolstencroft. The ad is the first execution in an international ad campaign called "Start Your Impossible," which will include a series of additional videos and other ads. Toyota is the official mobility sponsor of the International Olympic Committee as well as a sponsor of the Canadian Paralympic Committee and Canadian Olympic Committee.
"Sports inspire people to overcome challenges and make dreams come true, and Lauren's story is a perfect example of that," said Cyril Dimitris, vice-president of sales and marketing at Toyota Canada. "We're so proud to have Canadian stories, including Lauren's, highlighted in Toyota's first ever global ad campaign, and we hope they will inspire more Canadians, and others around the world, to start their own impossible."
