Loblaw debuts PC Optimum program

Loblaw of Toronto has launched its new PC Optimum loyalty program. The new program combines the company's previous PC Plus and Shoppers Optimum programs. Accumulated points from the old program will be converted to the new program. Consumers can exchange their old cards for a new card at participating stores. The new program also makes use of a new mobile application.
Points from the program can be collected or redeemed at approximately 2,500 retail stores, including the Real Canadian Superstore, Atlantic Superstore, City Market, No Frills, Independent, Zehrs, Loblaws, Shoppers Drug Mart and Shoppers Home Health Care, as well as online stores JoeFresh.com and BeautyBoutique.ca.
"We spent years listening to our loyalty members, and custom-made the PC Optimum program to suit their desire to save money and treat themselves," said Jim Noteboom, senior vice-president of loyalty and consumer insights at Loblaw Companies. "PC Optimum ties a big bow around all we have to offer, including some of Canada's favourite food, wellness, apparel and beauty brands and stores, adding increased rewards and convenience."
