Kellogg begins Try It Hot promotion

Kellogg Canada has begun a winter social media promotion called "Try It Hot" in support of its Mini-Wheats cereal brand. According to the company, the effort is intended to encourage consumers to "add some fun into winter mornings." The promotion features a spokescharacter called the Hot-Milk Man, who encourages consumers to try Mini-Wheats with hot milk in the morning. Consumers are also invited to submit images of themselves eating the cereal with hot milk via social media. The character will also make a series of appearances at winter events in Toronto.
"Kellogg's Mini-Wheats cereal and hot milk can be the first step to better and warmer winter days," said Natasha Millar, senior director of ready-to-eat cereal and beverages at Kellogg Canada. "It's an easy and delicious way to enjoy a warm breakfast, and provides a moment of escape to help us break up the cold, winter blahs."
