Taco Bell begins Extra Menu promotion

Fast food chain Taco Bell Canada has begun an online promotion in support of a new menu item called Naked Chicken Chips. The promotion makes use of a website at <> which offers twelve special options for consumers ordering the product. These include a chip-shaped private island for $13 million, a mealtime security guard for $500 and a robotic arm to lift food to the buyer's mouth for $25,000. The items will be available to purchase for a limited time. Taco Bell is a subsidiary of Yum Brands.

"Everyone loves being the first to experience a secret menu at their favourite hot spot, so we're taking that one step further with our uniquely Taco Bell one-of-a-kind Extra Menu," said Veronica Castillo, head of marketing at Taco Bell Canada. "As a brand, we are not afraid to present new menu items that get our fans excited and engaged. Our innovation and experiences are driven by the fans, and when it comes to shaking up the ordinary, you better believe Taco Bell is up to the (chicken) challenge."
