Disney to sponsor The Launch

Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures Canada has signed on as the lead sponsor of new CTV music-themed reality show The Launch. As part of the agreement, several upcoming Disney movies have been featured in promotional ads for the series, which will debut on Jan. 10. To coincide with the series premiere, Disney will run co-branded commercials that link to the series, as well as 30-second commercials during the show. CTV parent company Bell Media will also produce three 90-second videos in which musicians from the show introduce Disney films A Wrinkle in Time, Avengers: Infinity Wars and Black Panther. The artists will also post movie-related content on their social media pages.
"A global juggernaut, Disney is the perfect partner for The Launch in Canada, as we look to deliver the format to audiences worldwide," said Laird White, director of brand partnerships at Bell Media. "With Disney we reach a huge audience as we promote the show and three blockbuster films."
