WestJet signs loyalty program deal with Qantas

Calgary-based airline WestJet has signed an agreement with Australian airline Qantas Airways by which participants in WestJet's loyalty program will be able to redeem their points for trips to Qantas destinations. Members of the WestJet Rewards program can now redeem points for "Member Exclusive" fares to destinations including Sydney, Melbourne and Auckland.

"We are delighted to deepen our partnership with Qantas and bring even more global travel options to our WestJet Rewards members," said Ed Sims, executive commercial vice-president at WestJet. "Offering Qantas' premium products, service and flight network to our members is a further example of WestJet Rewards taking our guests even more places they want to go."
