WestJet conducts online holiday campaign

Calgary-based airline WestJet has released an online video called "12 Flights of Christmas." The video depicts the "joy and wonder of Christmas celebrations" as experienced by youth from the Boys and Girls Clubs of Canada. The video consists of clips from 12 previous videos posted the the brand's Facebook page showing a blue Santa Claus and a number of other personalities interacting with WestJet customers. The participants experienced 12 "miracles" suggested by children, such as playing with 40 puppies.

"WestJet creates holiday magic for Canadians every year," said Richard Bartrem, vice-president of marketing communications at WestJet. "This year, we asked for help from youth from St. Alban's Boys and Girls Club. Christmas, through the eyes of a child, is magical and the children gave us wonderful inspiration for surprising our guests. The best part was that the children got to be present to witness their own miracle come to life."
