Vancouver-based real estate developer Grand Lake Developments has begun a virtual reality promotional initiative. The company has introduced a VR tour of a model home from its upcoming Park Grand townhouse development. Consumers will be able to tour rooms of the house including the kitchen, living room, bedrooms, bathrooms and work areas. The presentation also includes an augmented reality component by which consumers will be able to view a scale model of the house as well as other collateral materials via a smartphone. The VR installations have been installed at the Park Grand presentation centres in Vancouver and Burnaby, BC. Visitors to the company's website will also be able to view 360-degree images of the virtual house. The initiative was developed by Nu Stream Marketing and Stambol Studios.
"Our results with Stambol have been amazing," said Nevin Low, executive vice-president at Nu Stream Marketing. "Their 3D, 360, AR and VR work for us has exceeded all expectations. Never before have we been able to offer such high-quality true to life images and renderings for a pre-construction offering."
