National adds two in Vancouver

National Public Relations has appointed Paul Welsh to the position of managing partner of its Vancouver office. He was most recently the founder and director of Amicus.io. Prior to that, he was chief commercial officer at Edelman Canada and co-general manager of Edelman Vancouver. Welsh was at Karyo Communications until its acquisition by Edelman in 2007.

Glen Edwards has joined the agency as senior vice-president of client strategy in Vancouver. He most recently operated his own firm called Edwards & Associates. Prior to that, he was director of communications and marketing at Lucent Strategy. Edwards has also worked at Karyo Communications and Oxygen Capital.
