Morguard resumes BeYou campaign

Mississauga-based real estate company Morguard has begun a campaign called "BeYou" in association with Big Brothers Big Sisters. The initiative is intended to encourage self-esteem, personal growth and self-worth in young Canadian women. The campaign will take place in 21 Morguard shopping centres from Sept. 18 to 24, accompanied by a website at <> and social media activities. Each location will host a series of workshops and events specific to the local community. In addition, consumers will be able to donate to Big Brother Big Sisters by text message. This is the second year Morguard has conducted this initiative.

"Our shopping centres act as a central hub for many families, providing a unique opportunity to reach local young women with our award-winning 'BeYou' program," said K. Rai Sahi, CEO of Morguard. "'BeYou' provides positive mentoring to girls during their formative years, encouraging them to celebrate their diversity and uniqueness. Morguard employees across Canada are proud to support the next generation of women with this important initiative."
