Goodfood begins Breakfast Club promotion

Toronto-based meal kit delivery company Goodfood has begun a promotion called "PayGoodfoodFWD" in association with the Breakfast Club of Canada. During the initiative, each time a social media user tags a friend using a campaign hashtag on Instagram or Facebook, the company will donate one breakfast to the club to be provided to a child in school. According to Goodfood, the effort is also intended to raise awareness of the issue of Canadian children who are at risk of going to school without breakfast. The campaign will run until Oct. 10.
"Our mission is to change the way Canadians eat at home, so we must do our part in addressing food insecurity," said Jonathan Ferrari, CEO of Goodfood. "Young people are our future, and Breakfast Club of Canada is doing important work to fight food insecurity and support the health and education of our youth."
