Nestle Purina PetCare conducts Fancy Feast promotion

Nestle Purina PetCare conducted a promotion in Toronto on Aug. 11 and 12 for its Fancy Feast brand of cat food. The promotion made use of a temporary retail location called the "Fancy Feast Foodie Pop-Up Shop" which distributed free items of merchandise along with samples of Fancy Feast varieties. A Purina executive chef was also in attendance to provide information about the ingredients used in the products.

The initiative also features a social media component by which the company will donate one week's worth of cat food to the Toronto Humane Society for each photograph of the store posted to Instagram. Consumers can also enter an online contest, the winner of which will receive a prize package valued at $10,000.
