Horizons ETFs Management to sponsor Raptors

Horizons ETFs Management Canada has signed a sponsorship agreement with Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment to become the exclusive exchange traded fund sponsor of the Toronto Raptors for the 2017-2018 NBA season. The company will use its sponsorship to raise awareness of the benefits of ETF investing in Canada. The agreement includes in-arena signage and participation in affiliated Raptors-themed promotions.
"Both basketball and exchange traded funds were invented by Canadians," said Steve Hawkins, president and co-CEO of Horizons ETFs. "Joining forces with the Raptors for the 2017-2018 season seemed like a natural cultural fit as both the Raptors and Horizons ETFs represent vibrant growth markets for Canada. With this new partnership, we look forward to engaging with passionate Raptors fans, educating them on ETFs and helping them understand how investment tools can be used by Canadian investors and basketball fans alike."
