Quebec Toyota dealers break online campaign

The Quebec Toyota Dealers Association has begun an online advertising campaign in support of the Toyota Yaris compact. Developed by Bleublancrouge of Montreal, the campaign consists of a 4.9-second video pre-roll ad that will run on YouTube through the summer and fall. The creative is designed to give the impression of clicking the "Skip Ad" link on behalf of the viewer.

"Let's face it, nobody likes pre-roll ads," said Jonathan Rouxel, executive creative director at Bleublancrouge. "We wanted to create an ad that clicks 'skip' for you, so we can better connect with consumers and show that we feel their pain. The funny thing is that by having a 100% completion rate, its cost per view is cut in half."
