AMA Toronto readies mentorship initiative

The Toronto Chapter of the American Marketing Association has opened applications for its 2017-2018 "Mentor Exchange" program. Applications will remain open until July 28. The program, conducted in association with the Schulich Executive Education Centre at York University, will pair 50 mid-career marketing professionals with 50 more experienced executives from the industry.

Participants will include executives from companies including ADP Canada, Bell Mobility, Bensimon Bryne, Edelman, LoyaltyOne, MDC Partners, Nestlé Canada, Purolator, Scotiabank, and Weight Watchers Canada.

"The AMA Mentor Exchange provides a structured mentoring system that successfully connects mid-level managers, directors and entrepreneurs with C-suite executives," said Craig Lund, co-chair of the program. "The goal of the program is to provide a one-on-one, nine-month mentoring relationship for senior managers to help inspire and enable them to become the leaders of tomorrow."
