Oleksiak signs endorsement deal with ASICS

Athletic footwear company ASICS Canada has signed a four-year endorsement agreement with Olympic swimmer Penny Oleksiak. She will participate in a number of promotional activities for the company's performance and lifestyle footwear and apparel product lines. According to the company, this is Oleksiak's first major endorsement deal.
"Penny is an inspiration, and her tenacity, skill and positive competitive spirit align perfectly with the direction ASICS is heading in Canada," said Richard Sullivan, president of ASICS Canada. "She embodies the athletic spirit we celebrate as a brand, as well as naturally demonstrates sportsmanship. Having watched Penny compete at Rio 2016, she not only made the country proud, but displayed her passion for sport. We couldn't be happier to have her join the ASICS team and be a part of her training journey."
