Tim Hortons conducts latte promotion in Toronto

Tim Hortons recently began a street promotion in Toronto as part of the launch campaign for its new latte menu item. The beverage, made from espresso and steamed milk, will debut nationally on April 26. The effort makes use of a temporary retail location in downtown Toronto. The location takes the form of a cafe called Perfectly Uncomplicated Lattes which sells only lattes and displayed no Tim Hortons branding until today. The cafe opened on April 5 and will remain open until April 26. Proceeds from the sales at the cafe will be donated to the Tim Horton Children's Foundation. The store is also distributing free samples of the beverage today.

"We are proud to have been brewing Canada's favourite coffee for more than 50 years, so naturally our team was in pursuit of excellence when it came to delivering the perfect latte to our guests at a great price," said Sami Siddiqui, president of Tim Hortons Canada. "Our latte is perfectly uncomplicated. It's easy to order and hand-crafted with two simple ingredients. We are confident that our guests across the country will love Canada's new favourite latte."
