Hydro-Quebec breaks new campaign

Hydro-Québec has begun a new advertising campaign focusing on the organization's technological innovations in clean energy. The campaign, developed by Lg2 of Montreal, consists of a television commercial accompanied by online and print advertising. It will run until May 7.
"Our objective in terms of creative direction was to continue to build pride following the success of the 'Welcome to Hydro-Québec' campaign," said Martin Cinq-Mars, creative director at Lg2. "This pride is grounded first and foremost in Hydro-Québec's historic contribution but also in the current 'ON' that is proud and forward-looking. The logo that Quebecers know so well now appears without a name at its side and stands today as a symbol. This execution further strengthens the 'ON' as a core part of its DNA."
