Yoplait readies whole milk yogurt campaign

Yogurt brand Yoplait has prepared a launch campaign for a new product called Yoplait Whole Milk, which, according to the company, is the first whole milk yogurt to be available nationally in Canada. The campaign, developed by Cossette, consists of a television commercial and online video that will run nationally beginning Feb. 20.

In addition, the company will conduct a campaign component in Quebec in association with SRC television program Les enfants de la télé. This element will include a contest with a grand prize of $10,000 worth of kitchen appliances and a one-year supply of yogurt.

"We are excited to introduce a new taste experience in the stirred yogurt category driven by the goodness of whole milk," said Samuel Bussières, marketing manager for Yoplait. "Yoplait Whole Milk yogurt offers all the benefits of whole milk along with a deliciously thick and creamy texture."

Yoplait is jointly-owned by General Mills and Sodiaal.
