New Balance begins new Fresh Foam campaign

Athletic footwear company New Balance Canada has released a new animated video promoting its Fresh Foam 1080v7 running shoe. The 30-second video seeks to depict the experience of running through three-dimensional, stop-motion and hand-drawn illustrations. A 15-second version of the video has also been produced. The campaign was developed by Loopmedia of Toronto in association with New Balance's in-house marketing staff.

"One of the inspirations for this piece was the New Balance team of marathon runners," said Jon Purdy, senior marketing manager at New Balance Canada. "When we think of a marathon, we're often fixated on the triumphant moment of crossing the finish line. But our goal for this video was to celebrate the long months and even years of hard training that makes victory possible, the idea that every stride is a mini-victory in its own right."
