Cogeco conducts Amazing Serenades promotion
Montreal-based cable company Cogeco has begun a Valentine's Day-themed promotion called "Amazing Serenades." Developed the Bimm, the campaign invited consumers to submit stories about their love, and then formed them into music videos in association with a variety of bands and musicians. On Feb. 14, these videos will be broadcast on CogecoTV. They will also be posted on the company's Facebook and Twitter pages.
"Valentine's is increasingly becoming more about sales than it is love," said Holly Pontisso, senior director of consumer marketing at Cogeco Connexion. "Over-inflated set dinner prices, flowers and chocolates. This year we're offering something special that money can't buy."
