Destination Canada retains two media agencies
Vancouver-based tourism organization Destination Canada has hired IPG Mediabrands Canada and Digital Innovation Group as its media agencies. They will be responsible for strategy, search media purchasing, social media activities, programmatic digital media buying, traditional media, content partnership negotiations, media production, analytics and reporting. The account was previously held OMD, DDB and Acronym.
"We made our evaluation based on strategic thinking, creativity, innovation, integrated media experience and a track record of delivering outstanding results," said Jon Mamela, chief marketing officer at Destination Canada. "These agencies demonstrated their ability to leverage technology coupled with the power of digital in executing innovative content marketing plans. They will be our key partners in delivering strategic programs that result in more travelers in our target markets planning and booking trips to Canada."
