New president at ACTRA Toronto

The Toronto chapter of the Alliance of Canadian Cinema Television and Radio Artists has appointed Theresa Tova to the position of president for a two-year term. She was been national councillor and treasurer of the union from 2007 to 2013. She was also vice-president of the organization and the first to hold the position of child advocate at ACTRA Toronto. She is also an actor, writer and singer who has worked in television, film and theatre. ACTRA Toronto represents approximately 15,000 professional performers working in recorded media.
