Direct Response Media Group buys Ad Save Publications
Direct Response Media Group of Oakville, ON has acquired Ad Save Publications, publisher of direct mail magazine Ad Save. According to the company, Ad Save has an annual circulation of four million households. Ad Save president David Hamamy and various additional staff members will continue to operate the company.
"We view this as a strategic move that further consolidates the direct mail market in Canada," said David Vander Ploeg, executive vice-president of business and franchise development at Direct Response Media Group. "The Ad Save product has an impressive pedigree behind it. Both customers and readers love the brand and the results it delivers to its advertisers. We are looking at layering in our digital and advertising insights products to align the current offerings for the Ad Save customer."
