WD-40 releases Haunted Door app

Household oil brand WD-40 has released a Halloween-themed mobile application intended to make doors sound deliberately creaky. The free Haunted Door application, developed by Bimm of Toronto, uses the motion-detection sensors in a smartphone to trigger a sound effect when the door is opened. Consumers are intended to place their phone in a bag and hang it from the door handle after starting the application.
