Ramella joins IPG Mediabrands

IPG Mediabrands of Toronto has appointed Matt Ramella to the position of head of digital strategy and partnerships. He will lead the agency's digital products, strategy and innovation efforts. He will also oversee relationships with digital media companies, particularly Facebook and Google. Ramella was most recently digital vice-president at UM Canada, a subsidiary of IPG. Prior to that, he was vice-president of strategy and intelligence at Syncapse. He was also senior manager of media, sponsorship and digital marketing at Labatt Breweries of Canada. Ramella has also worked at Starcom MediaVest Group as a strategy supervisor.
