Skyy Vodka conducts Claim Your Cali contest

Alcohol distribution company Gruppo Campari has begun a contest promotion in support of its Skyy Vodka brand. The promotion, called "Claim Your Cali," makes use of specially-marked bottles of the product incorporating an identification number that can be entered online at <>. Winners will receive a one-foot-square piece of land in California. The promotion was developed by BBDO and includes a 40-second online video introducing the contest and a 30-second video that provides winners with the GPS coordinates of their plot of land. The site also includes cocktail recipes, digital postcards and social media integration. The promotion will run until min-September.

"The 'Claim Your Cali' campaign establishes Skyy Vodka's California roots, while generating more awareness of the brand in Canada," said John Andersen, brand manager of the lifestyle portfolio at Gruppo Campari. "With in-store promotions, compelling videos and digital media buys on the channels that matter most to potential brand advocates, we hope to further engage Skyy's audience across multiple platforms."
