Ontario Association of Optometrists begins Working Hard campaign

The Ontario Association of Optometrists has begun an awareness campaign called "Working Hard," intended to raise awareness of the risk of eye strain caused by the prolonged use of digital devices such as smartphones, tablets and computers. Developed by Edelman Public Relations of Toronto, the online campaign encourages consumers to visit an optometrist in case of symptoms such as blurred vision, eye fatigue, dry or irritated eyes, headaches or double vision. It consists of a series of online videos featuring an animated character named Rob and his problems with his vision.
