Magazines Canada begins mashup campaign

Magazines Canada has begun a national campaign intended to convey the connection between consumers and magazines. Called "Canadian Magazine Mashup," the campaign consists of a series of three online videos and in-store materials. The creative features stories intended to illustrate the relationship between magazines and readers. The initiative also makes use of social media activities and a supporting blog of recommended reading from Canadian magazines. The campaign will run through the year.
"We've broken down all borders for the 'Canadian Magazine Mashup' campaign, which shows just how limitless the content in genuine Canadian magazines can be," said Barbara Bates, executive director of circulation marketing at Magazines Canada.
