New president at The Shopping Channel

Rogers Media of Toronto has appointed Anne Martin-Vachon to the position of president of The Shopping Channel. She will begin work on August 16. Martin-Vachon was most recently chief merchandising officer at the US-based Home Shopping Network. Prior to that, she was chief marketing officer at Nordstrom. She has also been CEO of Lise Watier Cosmetiques, chief marketing officer of Bath and Body Works and vice-president for global cosmetics and innovation at Procter & Gamble.
