PWC Canada hires UM

Professional services company PWC Canada has retained UM of Toronto as its media agency of record. The firm won the account in a competitive review process. The assignment includes media strategy, planning and buying. PWC had previously this work in-house. UM is a division of IPG Mediabrands.

"UM measured up best in terms of the kind of partner we wanted," said Lynne Clarke-Drew, director of industry and segment marketing at PWC. "Moving forward, PWC will have fully integrated and holistic media planning in place across social, traditional and digital channels.  We'll also have improved data and analytics to measure the effectiveness of our media campaigns."
