Woodbine Entertainment Group hires Triangles Agency

Woodbine Entertainment Group of Toronto has retained Triangles Agency, also based in Toronto, as its digital agency. The firm will develop a digital strategy intended to support Woodbine's recently-announced $50 million entertainment and gaming complex to launch over a period of several years. The assignment also includes support for the Woodbine Racetrack, Mohawk Racetrack, the WEGZ Stadium Bar, the online service and the company's presence in the United States. Triangle won the account in a selection process involving an unknown number of contenders.

"We want a new, younger audience to discover horse racing and digital is effective at targeting millennials," said Paul Lawson, senior vice-president of marketing and communications at Woodbine. "We also want to continue to generate strong return on marketing investment. Triangles was selected based on their analytical approach and focus on generating revenue."
