Campari signs Negroni Week sponsorship

Alcohol company Gruppo Campari is preparing a sponsorship promotion in support of its Campari brand. The brand will be the presenting sponsor of Negroni Week from June 6 to June 12. The initiative will consist of a series of events in participating bars, conducted in association with Imbibe magazine. Events will take place nationally in Canada and 44 other countries, focusing on the Negroni cocktail. The initiative includes a website at <http://www.negroniweek.com> at which venues can register to participate, as well as a charity fundraising component.
"We are excited to be the presenting sponsor of Negroni Week," said Priya Shah, brand manager for the Italian portfolio and brand experience at Campari Canada. "The week-long festivities allow us to show our appreciation of the mixology community by providing a platform that allows them to support causes that are near and dear to their hearts. We look forward to seeing this year's contributions from our participating venues across the country and we hope to elevate Canada as a global leader in this fundraising initiative."
