Kia Canada breaks Sportage campaign

Automaker Kia Canada has begun a new advertising campaign promoting the 2017 Kia Sportage sport utility vehicle. The campaign, developed by Innocean Worldwide Canada, includes four 30-second videos that are intended to "humanize how the vehicle's features integrate into everyday lives." A series of shorter videos will make use of the same theme online and as social media content. The campaign will run through April on television, in cinemas, online, and in dealerships.

The campaign is part of a larger initiative that began earlier this month using the tagline, "Made for people like you." The overall campaign includes television, radio, print, online and out-of-home advertising. The creative features testimonials from Kia owners. Consumers are also invited to visit a campaign website at <> to submit their own stories about the brand and to view additional video content.

"When the uninitiated experience a Kia, they are impressed with our features, safety, style and value," said Steve Carter, director of marketing at Kia Canada. "Every Kia feels like it was designed with your every need in mind. So we decided to let Canadians hear it from those that know best, our customers."
