Tweed signs endorsement deal with Snoop Dogg

Tweed, a medical cannabis company based in Smiths Falls, ON, has signed an endorsement agreement with hip-hop performer Snoop Dogg. He will participate in content activities and brand strategy for the company in Canada for the next three years. Snoop Dogg is the co-founder of cannabis-themed online media property Merry Jane and has released a cannabis brand called Leafs By Snoop. Tweed is a subsidiary of Canopy Growth Corporation.

"Our team is proud to bring Snoop into the fold," said Mark Zekulin, president of Tweed. "Today we're announcing our partnership and welcoming him to one of Canada's most exciting industries. Over the coming months we'll unveil the specifics, and until then all I can say is, stay tuned."
