Microsoft begins My24Hrs campaign
By Adnews Staff
Microsoft Canada of Mississauga has begun a social media campaign called "My24Hrs." The initiative consists of six online videos featuring Canadians who tell their "empowering stories of courage, passion and community" through technology. The campaign also encourages consumers to describe their own experiences via social media, leading up to "24 Acts of Empowerment" by campaign participants on the leap day of Feb. 29. The effort also makes use of a website at <http://www.microsoft.ca/my24hrs>.
"Learning about how technology has helped to empower these six Canadians along their inspiring journeys is remarkable," said Marc Seaman, vice-president of education at Microsoft Canada. "At Microsoft, we've always believed in the power of technology. That is why we've made it our mission to create immersive and inclusive experiences that inspire lifelong learning in students and teachers in and out of the classroom."
