Dentsu Aegis adds one, promotes one

Dentsu Aegis Network Canada has appointed John Stockwell to the position of chief talent officer. He will be responsible for the company's human resource functions in Canada. Stockwell was most recently vice-president of human resources for the Americas at Open Text Corporation. Prior to that, he held positions at human resources firm Morneau Shepell and mining company Vale.
Caroline Gianias has been promoted to the newly-created position of chief performance officer. She will work to optimize the performance of the company's people, processes and technologies. Gianias was most recently chief trading officer at Dentsu Aegis. Prior to that, she was executive vice-president of trade and communication activation at Aegis Media. She was also senior vice-president and general manager of Carat Canada. Gianias has also worked at David Cairns and Company, Chiat Day and McCann Erickson.
