Staples conducts Superpower Your School contest

Toronto-based office supply retail chain Staples Canada has begun a contest promotion called "Superpower Your School." Publicly-funded Canadian schools can enter the contest online at <http://www.staples.ca/powereco> by describing their ecological initiatives. Entries will close on Jan. 29, 2016. Ten winning schools will each receive $25,000 worth of technology from Staples Canada. The contest is being conducted in association with Earth Day Canada. It will be supported with social media activities. This is the sixth year of the initiative, which was previously known as the "Staples Canada Recycle for Education Computer Lab Contest."
"Teachers and students across the country are passionate about making a difference on the environment," said Steve Matyas, president of Staples Canada. "We're honoured to reward them for their devotion to environmental stewardship."
