Reebok Hockey begins social media campaign

Reebok Hockey has begun a social media campaign called "Its Your Game" to promote its line of hockey equipment. The initiative makes use of a branded social media hashtag intended to encourage hockey players, coaches, parents and fans to converse about the sport. It also features 15- and 30-second online videos that have been posted to the company's social media pages. The videos depict a series of youth hockey players. Through the hockey season, Reebok Hockey will continue the campaign with online posts from various games and tournaments from youth leagues to the professional level, including the NHL Winter Classic, All-Star Weekend, Stadium Series, NHL Draft and the Stanley Cup Playoffs. The campaign will also include product giveaways and other supporting activities.
"At Reebok Hockey, we celebrate the spirit that makes this your game," said Keith Leach, director of NHL licensed apparel at Adidas Group. "As a parent of three youth hockey players, I fully can appreciate the dedication that everyone in the family and community undertakes throughout a season. For each one of us, hockey may mean something different. Reebok Hockey wants fans to know that the hockey journey is unique to one's experiences. 'Its Your Game' is about celebrating this journey."
