Pendopharm conducts Hemovel campaign

Montreal-based pharmaceutical company Pendopharm has begun an online campaign for its Hemovel hemorrhoid treatment product. Developed by Vibrant Marketing, the effort focus on the fact that the product is taken orally, allowing hemorrhoids to be treated more conveniently. The campaign includes a website at <> and a Facebook page, both intended to increase brand awareness and encourage trial of the product. The company has also released an online video depicting a professional highliner's attempt to break a Canadian record by walking a 1,000-foot-long slack line.

"This campaign is bold and aims to change consumer behavior by educating that 'No privacy is needed' with Hemovel and 'Now you can treat your hemorrhoids anywhere,'" said Marie-Hélène Leblanc, director of Vibrant Marketing. "The comic and bold approach aims to raise brand awareness, drive trial and get people talking about hemorrhoids."
