TVA Publications promotes three

TVA Publications has recently promoted three staff members at its Toronto office. Christopher Purcell has been appointed to the position of general manager for Toronto. He will also remain vice-president of marketing and circulation. Prior to joining TVA, Purcell spent eight years at TC Media as head of consumer marketing.
Sandra Martin has been appointed to the position of group publisher. She will now handle content strategy for the company's English-language magazines Canadian Living, Elle Canada, Style at Home, Canadian Gardening and The Hockey News. Martin was most recently editor-in-chief of Canadian Living. The company is now conducting a search for a replacement. She has also worked at Rogers Media, Today's Parent, MoneySense and the National Post.
Sarah Châtelain has been appointed director of marketing, communications and events in Toronto and Montreal. She joined the company five years ago and was promoted to marketing director last year.
