MS Society conducts election campaign

The Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada has begun an out-of-home campaign tied to the upcoming federal election. The campaign makes use of lawn signs in the style of those used by political candidates. The signs display the copy, "Vote to end Canada's disease." These are being accompanied by posters, direct mail and digital materials. The campaign was developed by Mackie Biernacki of Toronto.

"This may be the first political campaign that doesn't take sides because MS affects all Canadians," said Owen Charters, chief marketing and development officer of the society. "In fact, more Canadians develop MS per capita than any other country. It doesn't matter whether you are Conservative, Liberal, Bloc, NDP, or Green, MS affects us all."
