Jeep Canada readies Life is Calling campaign
Jeep Canada is readying an online promotion called "Life is Calling" in collaboration with specialty television channel Discovery Canada. Beginning on July 20, a series of eight online videos will be posted at <http://www.discovery.ca/lifeiscalling>. A French-language site has been constructed at <http://www.lavievousappelle.ca>. The series will follow a pair of hosts as they visit various historic or adventurous Canadian locations in a Jeep Cherokee and a Jeep Renegade.
"I could not think of a more perfect partner than the Jeep brand for this unique interactive series," said Paul Lewis, president and general manager of Discovery. "Life is Calling is a series inviting Canadians to experience the open road, pioneering our great outdoors, and navigating tough terrain with grit and confidence, the very essence of what the Jeep brand embodies. We look forward to joining Roberto and Bella as we embark on this amazing Canadian journey."
The series will be promoted with broadcast and digital advertising in English and French on various Bell Media properties. Weekly episodic teaser ads will direct viewers to the campaign websites. Jeep Canada will also conduct a contest through these sites in which consumers can enter a draw for a 2015 Cherokee or Renegade, as well as other weekly prizes.
The campaign was developed in-house by Discovery Canada parent company Bell Media, in association with UM and Publicis. Jeep is a subsidiary of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles.
