Maple Leaf Foods breaks Natural Selections campaign

Maple Leaf Foods of Toronto has begun a new television campaign for its Natural Selections line of hot dogs, bacon and deli meats. The campaign, developed by John St. of Toronto, consists of two 30-second commercials that focus on the quality of the ingredients used in the products. Each execution depicts a child fantasizing about being a hero, one as a firefighter and one as a surgeon. The ads use the tagline, "Feed their potential."

"We all know how gratifying it is to watch our children pretend they are real-life superheroes, like doctors and firefighters," said Chantal Butler, vice-president of marketing and master brands at Maple Leaf Foods. "As parents, we want to do everything we can to help them achieve their dreams and full potential, including fueling their days with good nutrition and a balanced diet."
