New chief marketing officer at Ipsos

New York-based market research company Ipsos has promoted Jim Meyer to the newly-created position of chief marketing officer. He will be responsible for developing marketing strategy for the company in the US and Canada. Meyer was most recently CEO of Ipsos ASI in North America, where he led the firm's advertising and brand communications research business. Prior to joining Ipsos, he was a general manager at TNS and the CEO of Mindset Media.
