Fairmont Hotels conducts Destination Inspiration campaign

Fairmont Hotels & Resorts has begun a campaign called "Destination Inspiration" to coincide with the summer travel season. Developed by Fuse Marketing Group of Toronto, the effort focuses on the hotel company's new series of destination-based guest packages. Fuse won the assignment in a competitive pitch process.

The initiative includes a website at <> illustrating the various experiences available to hotel guests. It also makes use of 54 30-second videos made by guests with wearable cameras. The videos promote various Fairmont properties in English, French and Spanish. Other elements of the campaign include social media, email, online and print advertising, as well as public relations.

"The videos and website that Fuse created capture perfectly the essence of the Fairmont brand, sophisticated, luxurious and connected," said Jeff Doane, vice-president of sales and marketing for the Americas at FRHI Hotels & Resorts. "They allow us to inspire our potential guests with unique travel experiences and capture their imaginations when planning where to go on vacation this summer."
