Jimmy The Greek conducts Gimme Jimmy campaign
Fast food chain Jimmy The Greek has begun a new marketing campaign called "Gimme Jimmy." It was developed by Aline Marketing & Communications of Toronto in collaboration with Ikona Design and Communication. It consists of online advertising supported with radio and transit ads, as well as shopping mall posters and elevator ads. According to the agency, the campaign is intended to distinguish the chain from similarly-named competitors.
"We applied a streamlined media strategy to influence our targets, the business lunch crowd and daytime shoppers, by intercepting them directly on their path-to-purchase," said Lorelei Derera, president of Aline. "We focused a portion of our media buy on a YouTube pre-roll and Facebook posts that run between the hours of 11am and pm and only within a short proximity to Jimmy The Greek restaurant locations. This reduced budget waste and allowed us to reach people who could actually make it to a location for lunch."
