Burger King conducts Chicken Fries campaign

Fast food chain Burger King Canada is conducting a social media campaign to promote the launch of its new Chicken Fries menu item in Canada. The national campaign consists of a series of Facebook, Twitter and Instagram posts depicting a love affair between a chicken and an order of fries. The campaign marks the company's first use of Twitter and Instagram in Canada. The social media component is being supported with in-store materials.
"We've watched the tremendous buzz that the launch of Chicken Fries created in the US, much of it a result of their authentic great taste," said Tracy Chin-Sam, marketing director for Burger King in Canada. "It's a fun, tongue-in-cheek campaign that has a lot of user-generated content shared amongst devoted Chicken Fries fans."
Redberry Investments of Montreal is the master franchisee for Burger King in Canada, representing 300 restaurants.
