W Network readies Say Yes to the Dress Canada contest

W Network of Toronto is preparing a contest promotion for its reality program Say Yes to the Dress Canada in association with Weddingvacations.com. The company, which is a sponsor of the show, specializes in destination wedding and honeymoon planning. The contest will begin on June 22 on WNetwork.com. The winner will receive a trip for two to Cancun, Mexico.
The national campaign, arranged by media agency VMC, is aimed primarily at women between the ages of 25 and 54. It includes on-air branding, closed-caption sponsorship, a contest commercial, online materials and a series of vignettes produced by Corus. The videos will depict consultants from the series and from Weddingvacations.com, along with a woman planning a wedding.
