Second Cup debuts loyalty program

Second Cup Coffee has introduced a new loyalty program at its 345 locations nationally. Called Second Cup Coffee Co. Rewards, the free program offers participants points for each dollar spent on the chain's products. The program makes use of a card or a mobile application to manage and redeem these points. The application also tracks new promotions and nearby special offers. Users can also pay for purchases with the application and locate nearby Second Cup stores. As part of the launch of the program, consumers who join before May 20 will receive an initial 500 points.

"As our Second Cup coffee revolution continues, we are igniting Canadians' passion for our brand, thanks to the many innovations we've introduced," said Vanda Provato, vice-president of marketing at The Second Cup. "Our new rewards program and mobile app embody our commitment to creating a premium, personalized brand experience for our customers."
